Who we are

SFTP Works ("the App") is an SFTP file browser developed by Tab0 Inc. This page explains how the App handles your information.

How the App handles your data

When you connect to an SSH/SFTP server through the App, your device communicates directly with the server you configure. The developer does not operate any backend, proxy, or relay; remote files, file paths, server hostnames, and your credentials never reach the developer's systems.

SSH/SFTP credentials, connection profiles (display name, hostname, port, username, default path, host fingerprint), and app preferences are stored locally on your device — credentials and profiles in the iOS Keychain, preferences in iOS UserDefaults. Deleting the App removes all of them. Biometric unlock, when enabled, is handled by iOS LocalAuthentication; the App and the developer only receive a success-or-failure result.

The App does not require an account and does not use IDFA, advertising networks, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Third-party services

The App sends a small set of anonymous diagnostic events through PostHog to help diagnose connection reliability and crashes. These events do not include server hostnames, usernames, credentials, file paths, file names, or file contents.

The website at sftp.tab0.ai, including this page, uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous page views and Web Vitals. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
